On May 19, 2013, students from all four branches of Dar al-Rahman School gathered to celebrate their accomplishments at the Annual Awards Celebration. Dozens of students performed at the Celebration, showcasing their new knowledge in a variety of different fields by delivering informative speeches, reciting excerpts from the Quran, and singing Arabic songs.
The Celebration began with an address from the school’s principal, and then moved to a keynote address from a guest speaker. Both highlighted the significance of the Awards Celebration and the importance of Dar al-Rahman’s mission, inspiring those in the
The Celebration then moved to class-by-class performances, with the eldest class beginning the performances by delivering several speeches and reciting ayat from the Quran. Other classes also recited excerpts from the Quran and sang many songs, offering plenty of entertainment to those present in the audience. A short film, created by several DAR students, was also displayed at the Awards Celebration, meeting wide approval and satisfaction.
As always, the Awards Celebration was a great success and acted as a magnificent end to DAR’s fall term. In coming months, Dar al-Rahman will begin several exciting summer programs. You can see more on that here.
